I respect this guys wisdom and I think he has stepped up this year. It looks like he has struggled a little bit between criticism and praise in the past seasons. The only thing that really bothers me about him (and Paula) is that whenever Simon disagrees with him they don't even let him finish and end up talking over him.  Huh  Seems immature to me.

I liked what Randy and Paula did by over riding Simon in their choice  of Ramiele.  His comment after her top 24 performance was great and on the money. After that, it seemed he was over critical and I think he greatly  contributed to her losing her confidence and her over trying simply to please him. In addition I  grew to dislike his constant praise of Carly who I think will again be a dismal failure. She just isn't a likable talent. His comments after Ramie's "Alone" were uncalled for. He made his point in the beginning but pressed it long after Simon gave her better grades for her performance. More than on a few occasions, he praised Carly when most of us felt her performance was average at best. If he wanted to be her agent again, he should have excused himself from judging.

Wow! I must have missed something. Was he her agent before? If so that is definitely a conflict of interest.
